Legal law abiding citizens should be able to own guns. Period.
That statistic is wonderful! I hope we hit a Billion in the next 10 years.

Those numbers are way off.
The ammo numbers are for one single year.
The firearms numbers do not take into account so many things.
Regardless, our citizenry is better (small) armed than than any army in the world.
They key would be to get the guys in the fighter jets and tanks to join our side.
Also, we would have to take possession of some of the armored swat vehicles Obama gave to Sheriff departs and large municipal police departments.
