American is also the most propagandized free country in the world so this makes sense.

Swaggart et al are dead. There's a new generation and they have the ear of people like Pete Hegseth. You may have heard about certain US leaders using apocalyptic terms referring to the Iran war or whatever it is and believing their role is to bring about Armageddon.

Meh. Sounds more like self-delusional Reddit-level Progressive bogeymanism.
That's the irony of the modern Left; it rejected religion but kept the Puritanism, the strict orthodoxy, the moral purity tests, public shaming as a form of excommunication, the sins, the heretics, the bogeyman (Pete Hegseth oh nooooz), moral tribunals, public confessions, struggle sessions as repentance, etc.
Control of the culture that effects our lives from kindergarten on and has us jumping through hoops at every job we have vs some vague shite about Pete Hegseth. Not the same thing, my bro.

I’d say chopping up pre-born babies and suctioning them out qualifies as evil.

This doesn't surprise me with how divided we are politically and culturally.. with social media fake news exacerbating the problem every time anyone looks at their phone.

It's everywhere that has unrestricted internet access. Social media has my Romanian friend convinced that China is the greatest nation on earth, she'd get arrested by ICE if she traveled here, and American women are less free than in Iran.
And she can find endless fake news reels that back up those positions. It's scary. Chinese and Russian accounts are out there convincing younger generations that the USA is a hellhole. And they're falling for it because they don't know better.

Man have ya'll taken a glance at society the last 10 years? Most people are selfish as hell with no morals.
Our society sucks and I agree with the poll.

I am oft amused when modern revelations verify things some have known for centuries. This is just another on the list

The fact that some many of you go directly to party lines pretty much proves what the chart is saying. Americans are some of the most fearful and anxious people on earth and jave been for some time. Don't you think other countries have party lines? Is so, then why are Americans ranked so poorly. If there was no such thing as party lines, Americans would still be rated the worst. We tend to think the worst of people way before we know which party they are a part of. Just think of all the people on this board who have mentioned how much people suck in general.

Those verses are about original sin before God.
A sociology poll about whether people are generally good or bad isn’t asking a theological question.

I think you missed the point

The percentage of adults who report regularly attending religious services remains low. 30% of Americans say they attend religious services every week
70% dont even attend church regularly. They have foregone God. Their morals are certainly in question, as the poll indicated

Imagine living in the cartel run shithole known as Mexico and thinking people are generally good. Look around for fricks sake Juan.
I think Americans are some of the most honest people for better or worse

Are you suggesting there can be no morals without God, specifically the capital G God AKA YHWH.

I read a study recently that liberal women are the most intolerant. Men are more tolerant of the opposite side of the political spectrum than women are of their own side of the political spectrum.

I see people as mostly good. I’ve posted that on here before. Most fights stem from misunderstandings, imo.
