Amazon Prime packages late

This is probably the 4th or 5th time in the past 6 months that I've had a prime shipment get delayed. I placed a $600 order Wednesday morning, it said guaranteed delivery Friday the 22nd if I order within like 8 hours, so I ordered right away. frickers didn't ship it until yesterday at 10:30 am and now ups is saying it'll be Monday before it's delivered. shite pisses me off because I pay $119 a year just for the fast shipping. I feel if they'd have shipped it Wednesday it'd be here today.
TL;DR..... has anyone had any luck raising hell with Amazon over late prime packages and getting comp'ed any free shite from them to try to appease you?

They'll probably give you prime for a year if you tell this story in a polite email

ANY time something is not on time, I calmly go to the Amazon chat and get another month added to my account..If the item does not say shipped and sold by Amazon, I don't buy it

prime is crap
before prime i was getting packages 2-3 days, with prime 2-3 days.
movies are crap, music costs money, just not worth it.

This was shipped and sold by Amazon. A camera, case and sd card. Not that complicated.

Amazon is overrated.
If it makes you feel better, I ordered a shower wall from Home Depot and it was suppose to be in yesterday, but I just got the email saying it was delivered a little while ago.. A day later.

Same experience. Don’t remember every having this issue prior to 4-5 months ago. Now it’s happened about 1-2 times per month!

They just give it to you usually. I've also had them give me a 10 dollar Amazon credit.
Why will it not be delivered until Monday? They have weekend and Sunday delivery most places.

I have found that if weekend delivery was not originally specified, UPS/FEDEX/USPS just won't do it
