Big talk from someone who lives in a shite hole like New Orleans.
Clearly my point flew over your head. Amazon is a great employer and can recruit from all over the world out of an area with lower costs of living and thus lower salaries if they wanted. Boston and New York check all the boxes but come at a steep price - especially when considering the additional compensation for tens of thousands of employees.

I think the location is chosen already. They are talking about Boston and their selection process now to obtain a better deal out of the host cities they are really considering.

Is there a way for MA to give one company a huge tax incentive? I'm sure they would do anything to get Amazon there. Billions of dollars of economic impact over the next 10 years for MA with this move.
