Boston makes sense at surface level. but I do think this is just a negotiating ploy.
I still think the state of Texas could offer a great bid. Austin, Dallas, and Houston could all make sense in a way, depending on the needs of the Company.

I thought it was amazing that theOT was 100% convinced that Dallas was their spot LOL probabaly never came up in their conversation.

I am from BR and know it is not going to LA, but this is a fairly common negotiating tactic. Boston will probably not have the best proposal from a money standpoint, so you throw it out as the leader and let the states that are more willing to give financial incentives bid themselves into a frenzy.
This may be what topgolf is doing with the siegen property.

I can see that being the case. But I don't see how Boston isn't a Top 3-5 option either.

Only city that I'd rather live in out of the several that have been mentioned the most, would be D.C.
I'd rather live in Boston over LOLNashville, Dallas, Austin, Atl, Charlotte, Tie with Denver but I think boston would get the nod.

The biggest concern I'd have with Boston over Atlanta, Tampa, Columbus, Pittsburgh, or Houston would be the additional costs of living for employees.
It wouldn't be a big deal to pay a couple of hundred executives more to compensate, but for tens of thousands of people it will add up very quickly.

I agree. D.C. And Boston are great for young professionals.
They are expensive as shite, but they are usually ok with living in a ridiculously overpriced apartment.
