I'm visiting friends in Austin right now. I still go out every weekend... just now it's at a friend's house and a bottle of Makers is way cheaper than my usual bar tab

I would take that to court in a heart beat. You can’t even traverse a grocery store now. I almost ran over five people social distancing trying to get to the hootch aisle.

Not to argue but the parks and bike paths have been more crowded. You can't even buy a bike right now.
Every store is sold out or they sell as soon as they get them in.

WalMart, Home Depot, etc. are wide open. Always people violating social distancing orders.

This whole thing is the biggest sham in our history. Not the virus but the reaction to it.

OP, I work from home now, have no sports for my kids and use more sanitizer, that's about it.
Wife wants me to take a shower when I get home from school and she wipes packages down. But she is in the high risk catagory so I don't bitch too much.

How many are on your bike path?
How many are usually on the beach? How many would’ve been at French quarter fest today? How many would be at a restaurant brunching? Who would’ve been hitting a concert tonight? Or a pels game (I have no idea if TODAY was on the schedule but you get my point).... or a bar or restaurant. Would the park folks you are discussing have been distributed across the many closed parks normally?
That a couple very specific outdoor solo activities are seeing upticks doesn’t replace the public traffic of our normally functioning society

Some places have closed off parks. Washington State, for example. You can't even recreationally fish there.

I'm making sure to keep my distance from most people. Mainly when at the store. But other than that I haven't changed much.

I literally do not give a frick about this whole thing. Neither me nor my wife have lost our jobs. Actually my wife’s company had a record breaking month in March and are on pace to break that this month. Because of this she has made personal bests in commission. We have been living our lives unchanged.. going to the store without any masks or PPE like all the other poons. We have been having friends over 2-3 times a week. Actually boiled some damn good crawfish this weekend! The most annoying thing about this is not having a place to go out to eat- were honestly tired of cooking.

I have been to post office (mailing product to clients) and grocery store, hardware store and out of respect to others I have maintained distance. I have wipes handy but I haven't used them. I can understand how people that are germ conscious how this time could be a stressful time for them.
