The answer is no because I see people out everywhere, and to be honest I see a lot more people out enjoying life now than I did before the covid. Are any of you truly hunkered down?

Define going out? Can't really gather with the rules in place.

With the exception of my kids being out of school and ordering take-out instead of going to restaurants, my life hasn't really changed at all.

I go out daily and laugh at the tape on the floor at Publix, while the cashier is 2' away. So many people out, doing things they forgot they enjoyed. Kids actually playing in the fricking yard.

I go get food everyday. Does that count? I've yet to spend an entire day without leaving my apartment at all. I went for a hike with my daughter a few days ago too. I also just started wearing a mask. Was probably one of the last 1% in California to do that. That's all I got

I’m not a selfish prick, so I’m not acting like life is normal. I dont think Covid would kill me or my kids but I don’t want to be responsible for infecting and killing the more vulnerable.

My life hasn't really changed much.
Go to work every day.
Go to the store as necessary (which is more frequent than normal, because stock on items is often depleted and requires going to a second or third store to complete the list).
Never wear a mask.
Don't even bother with hand sanitizer or wipes when getting a basket at the store.
Not sick. No symptoms.

I just laugh at dumb people driving around wearing masks in their cars by themselves.

Businesses here have stopped letting people in without a mask. My daughter also told me you can get a ticket for being out in public without a mask (I assume she's correct but I haven't verified that)

I mean...has anybody actually told you that you need to be “hunkered down”?

Going to get take out, going to the grocery store or taking a walk in the park or around your neighborhood doesn’t make you some kind of hero dude.

If popping in and out on a couple errands it’s probably better than going back and forth

I Tend to save the eye roll for the ones with it on their chin and such

Why do people think this isn't allowed?

Yeah, actually we do. Was kayaking today, water was busy after lunch. Beaches are closed but people want to be out on the water. So, yeah, there is a resurgence of outdoor activity.

Same here. People out and about everywhere. Kids outside playing. The first week or so of quarantine was quieter but people are loosening up and it’s become obvious that this is not the Black Death.
