Today was the tow truck drivers first citation, but I don't have any faith he is going to have to pay it.

I would out him but I need to find someone that can help. He told the cops he was going to beat my arse when they left and started coming in the street toward me as a was trying to finish cutting my grass until he saw something that made him change his mind. He was yelling and threatening me. Calling me racists and a terrorist with mother frickers thrown in as a adjective for every word.

The words he told to the group of cops before they let him go. "Y'all all know me and I promise you I am going to beat his arse." and they do NOTHING. He said he would take the trespassing and battery charge directly to the cops that he didn't care.

I asked the officer that gave me the report number what I should do and he said I had to defend myself....

What really pissed me off is when he was in the street yelling at me was he was calling my non verbal son a handicap and retard over and over. He said it was because of me but IDGAF about that, you don't call someone with special needs names, they can't defend themselves.

If anyone knows anyone in BRPD or DA's office that can help with the assault and threats in front of BRPD officers I am all ears.

Defend yourself? So they can come back and arrest you for assault? I wouldn't trust that for shite.
Shoulda been recording all that somehow, then restraining order.

Can you get a restraining order for something like this? That would be great, but do they do anything?

Definitely record it. And always stay on your property if he’s coming towards you. Never meet him in the street.

90% of it is on my doorbell cam, it has all the audio. I save the files locally but I'll be sure to save copies so they don't get overwritten.

If he continues all the company information is coming out. Pics of the wildebeast for an OT rating too.

Don’t do either of these things. Ever.

Go talk to a lawyer about getting a restraining order. Listen to their advice.

Try to ignore the guy as best you can and don’t step foot off your property if he tries to engage you. Keep all the videos and consider getting a good dashcam since he’ll probably engage you when you’re leaving or coming home. He could claim you drove in a way where he feared for his life and he defended himself. Get the incident numbers for every police call. Check your driveway for roofing nails, etc.

Look up the legal definition of brandishing a firearm and don’t do it. If the guy has already seen you carrying a firearm, he’ll arm himself. He sounds like the type to escalate and he would make sure it wasn’t a fair fight. Whether you have the law on your side or not, if you’re dead it really doesn’t matter.

Move.

I agree with Bluegrass Belle but Bob's advice is probably actually better.

All of this. It’s fun to play Billy badass on the internet but if push comes to shove you need to make sure you’ve done your research and acted accordingly fully within the confines of the law. Assholes like this won’t think twice about fricking with your way of life so you need to make sure the law is on your side and not his.
