2 phones thru AT&T. One is full service with unlimited text+ data(3gb). The other phone is just talk only.

700 combined minutes/month. Unlimited night minutes.

With tax, the total is $126. Thats with a ~20% work discount.

You can get unlimited talk/text and 5Gb of data through Straight Talk for $45 (w/tax) per line.

And Straight Talk uses the AT&T lines, so you'd be getting the same exact service.

Yes.

I have 4 smartphones through Verizon and, not counting equipment charges and insurance, we're in the $45 range, per phone, per month, unlimited talk/text and sharing 12gb of data. I don't consider that all that cheap, but a reasonable market price, discounted 15% (work discount).

It's one of them things. If you check out upping to 6gb, it may only be $3 more a month after data and company discount.

2 phones 10gb data for $171 with att. Both have att Next. When phones are paid off. It'll go down $50 a month but data discount of $25 goes away. Assholes. Everyone is paying too much for a phone plan.

Two phones for $150 with no worries of talk/data should be a good goal.

My mother is dead.

Of course, as an Alabama fan, that's right up your alley, isn't it.

I also have a dog that just passed away. Should I give you directions to where he's buried? That would be an Alabama fans greatest accomplishment -- f*cking a dead dog.

Yes, as has been said StraightTalk would give you a better plan for $45/month or $500/year - $41.66/month. Most phones use the AT&T towers. The one I picked uses Verizon towers, though. I've used it for 3 years, no problems.

I also have Straight Talk.

I bought a $500 unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (android phone) brand new (not from ST). I pay $45/month. It uses AT&T towers. I figured out that I saved about $700 by not doing the AT&T contract/free phone deal.

I have been with ST for years with no issues.

same question.

Four lines.

Three have data and are smart phones, one is a secondary flip phone for work.

6gb shared data, unlimited talk and text.

$4 a month for smart caller ID.

Total $249 a month. I write it off, but still it seems at least $50 too high.

Ask about the new Yeti phone.

Just wait on phone plans, don't lock in. Their cost is negatively trending.

Different ST phones use different towers. Mine is on Sprint. If you buy one of their smartphones it will most likely be Sprint. Their sim cards are all Sprint also.
