Why does it look more like a celebration?

Music and cheers. Laughing and goofing off. Doesn't look like a community in mourning if you ask me

Looking at the video again and I can't help but wonder if there was t a misunderstanding between the two cops. It kinda looked like one cop detected a gun on Sterling's right side and yelled "gun". Sterling's right arm wasn't completely restrained because he was a big strong dude. I can't help but suspect that in the heat of the moment the other cop thought his partner was saying Sterling had actually grabbed his gun. Cops never admit to making mistakes so we may well never really understand exactly what happened. Let's hope cooler heads prevail and nobody else is hurt because of this.

That's exactly what I am wondering as well..

Other officer says gun gun gun, but he never had the gun in his possession.. at least not from what we know at the time.. The other officer then starts shooting..

I just wish they wouldn't freaking shoot so many times. Or have went at him together with a different approach.

I highly doubt this guy intended to shoot or kill the police (I know they can't go by that) but this man has resisted arrest before with police, while even having a gun on him.. and he didn't use it. He's just an arrogant idiot, but it doesn't mean he deserved to die.

Such an unfortunate situation.

On top the man, officer freaks out over seeing a gun, and they take his fricking life.. Seriously.. come on man.

He shouldn't have had a gun on him illegally (if it was illegal for him to), but he felt he needed it for protection.. doesn't make it right, but doesn't mean he deserved to die. He wasn't holding it, I don't believe he had any intentions to use it at all either. He was probably just resisting arrest like he typically does and he paid quite a price for his arrogance. :banghead:

It looked like the cop on Sterlings right side was the one that fired the first shot, no? He would have also been the one yelling gun.

The whole "pinned down" narrative needs to die. As of now, it is clear Sterling's right arm was free.

Yep.

Can someone get screen shot of it with a decent resolution?

Is this still debatable? He was a convicted felon, no? The gun was also concealed.

Unfortunate situation. IMO no one is to blame, it just is what it is. Law enforcement and dealing with criminals isn't pretty or easy all the time.

He was a convicted felon that was carrying a gun illegally. The cops gave him orders which he disobeyed. He paid the price for being a dumb fricking criminal. He had a choice and he chose wrong.

The problem is that Cops lives really matter, way more than yours. They are not taking chances, shoot first ask latter way too much now. (Really been this way for decades but u r just now seeing it on video)

When did they realize he was a felon? When did they find the gun?

Ok...honestly, does anybody believe either cop in this situation actually wanted to shoot this guy?? Seriously? NACCP guy said cops were there to kill...which is complete b.s. Every cop I know does their job...but it's a job, not a vendetta. I hope this passes soon enough.

The 2nd video posted seems more in depth or possibly strung together differently, because it shows

They shoot the man twice, possibly 3 times and then tell him to get on the ground AFTER.. and he's clearly in a world of pain and rises up in agony.. not going for anything.. he's just rising upwards.. and they shoot him two to three more times.

Outstanding. frick

THERE IS NOTHING IN HIS frickING HANDS FOR THE LAST TWO SHOTS.. THE MAN IS IN A WORLD OF HURT, BARELY MOVING AND THEY JUST REALLY MAKE SURE THEY END THIS MAN'S LIFE. those last two shots were so ridiculously unwarranted.

AND you have some fricks on here pissy over others questioning their overreactions. yeah, okay.

Hopefully this is what it ends up being.

But man, Soros and his groups will push money for this to turn it into another Baltimore/Ferg. Locals have to make sure to keep the outside instigators in the back and drown out their shite.

Those anarchists from Chicago who torched shite last time, are linked to rev wrights peeps. Soros money wasnt tough to get into their hands.
