When did they realize he was a felon? When did they find the gun?
What does that have to do with whether the gun was legal?

I don't think you understand what murder is.

It looked like the cop on Sterlings right side was the one that fired the first shot, no? He would have also been the one yelling gun.
Yea that's what I saw. The cop to the left if you're watching the video, or the cop on the right from sterlings perspective started yelling gun and the other cop then pulls his gun out and tells sterling not the move

I would like to see anyone get shot three times and then be able to comprehend anything else of what is going on and "get on the ground"
They are already on the ground because the cops ridiculous mishandling of this situation.
They lit that man up together. Tagged team him. Second video looks so much worse than the initial video posted. First video seemed like just one cop was shooting.

Well, he did still have a gun on him, he was still resisting arrest, and he could've been reaching for his pocket.
Try again next time detective retard

You can't see this in the second video you're referring to, the last 3 shots happen off camera

You're seeing what you want to see, not what actually happened. Go back to being a desk jockey detective retard

Regardless of this situation, are you implying its damn near impossible to grab a gun if you have one after you've been shot? That's why the cop tells him again to get on the ground

Yep! You just proved you are stupid.
Why?
MOST of what you wrote is incorrect.

This happens every day. I have seen way worse. Not a race thing, but police are poorly trained now, militarized, and sorry to offend some people but way too many of them are complete dumb asses. As they have become militarized the " I am not putting up with shite" attitude has become the norm instead of "I hope I never have to draw my weapon" and pride cops used to have in never pulling a gun.
Crime and murder rates are actually at almost historical lows. This is probably less frequent too just getting caught on tape more. Time for body cameras BRPD. No reason not to have, as they protect good cops and expose the bad ones.

Pasting this from the advocate. Pretty interesting:
In May 2009, he was selling CDs outside a convenience store when a Baton Rouge officer asked if he had any weapons or drugs on him, according to a police report. Sterling didn’t answer, and the officer had him put his hands on the police car, the report said. While being frisked for weapons, Sterling tried to reach into his front left pocket for an unknown item, the officer wrote.
Sterling then tried to run from the officer, who grabbed the back of his shirt and pushed him to the ground. During the struggle, a stolen 9mm semi-automatic pistol fell from Sterling’s waist band, the report said. Officers also found a small plastic bag of suspected marijuana in Sterling’s front left pocket.
Sterling later pleaded guilty in May 2011 to illegal carrying of a weapon with a controlled dangerous substance, and was sentenced to five years in July 2011.
