Everyone I know that has "unlimited PTO" doesn't like it. It's also just a way to get that PTO liability off their books imo.

This. Unlimited Officer PTO sounds great in theory, but in reality it means I can't take the time off I really want because I'm always dealing with something.

Been with the company 17 years. Get 25 PTO days, 7 sick days, and any federal holiday off.

11.07 hours biweekly, so 6 weeks plus 6 holidays, 36 days a year. Been here 22 years and would have already left except for the PTO.

I don’t have any paid time off but I work for myself and make my own schedule. I worked for a company that required you to be there for 10 years to get the third week of vacation. I left there after 9 years and 11 months. Never again.

Idk. I work in sales. My boss is in Minnesota. He has no idea where I am so I just take off and don’t tell anyone then collect it as unused PTO at the end of the year

Been in current role for 2.5 years.
Get 6 hours per check (Every 2 weeks)
Increases after 5 years

However due to working 12’s I only work 3 days one week and 4 the next.

So I just burned 9 days of PTO and got 3 weeks off

4 weeks/year (6.15 per pay period) plus 10 holidays. If that holiday falls on my normal day off, I can use it elsewhere. Also, I have to work after hours and on my scheduled day off sometimes, so I accrue a shitload of comp time. I'm off more days than I work in a year. I'm taking the month of December off just to get my comp time under control.

Just a frog’s hair under 6 hours every two weeks, plus 10 for every recognized holiday.

I’m trying to find a PTO driven mulcher to rent to clear about 400 acres of saplings…..damnit, wrong PTO.
