Nak is trying to balance the possibility of being cut off from SWB and MP / being fired by WBRZ against the fricking low hanging fruit dangling in front of him.
Hard to keep a rep as a hard hitting investigative reporter when you blatantly ignore the biggest fricking story in the region.

Nakamoto seems to have gotten off his arse the last several days and started bringing up "gangs" in BR. I'm sure he reads this board so maybe he can take this ball and run with it to put some pressure on MP.
Nak is too worried about keeping whatever limited access he has to Broome and MP. He has never went to bat for Kiran. He is too busy knocking over the dog catcher for Lutcher for buying a 2 taco combo at Jack in the Box on the city credit card. Straight bitch made.

Louisiana has never had what many equate as ‘gangs’ in other areas of the country. Louisiana has a very high percentage of of people who’s family has been in a single neighborhood for 4+ generations where no one has ever left and they choose to do hood rat shite together and represent their hood

True.
Not traditional Crip / Blood shite but more like 7th Avenue Boyz shite.
It’s like block wars from fricking Judge Dredd.

Taking out Deedy got him a lot of credit. Then he kept going after these rinky dink small town politicians while there was all kinds of clear corruption in BR going on in front of his face.

The theme of yesterday’s press conference was repeat offenders and that you can’t “arrest your way out of this problem” - which is true by the way, to MP’s credit. I think they they know who it was just don’t get have enough evidence to arrest yet and they’re deflecting the blame to the DA and judges who go soft on crime. They know a shitstorm is coming.

I can believe judges are soft on crime. One specific one used to fricking run ads to that effect.
The DA’s office, OTOH, is probably hamstrung by the quality of cases handed to them by BRPD.

I think national gangs are embarrassed to be involved with these morons. Just look at the names.

And have to note- law enforcement will always consider the initial caller as a potential suspect.
I will be honest, when I read the article and what the witness said my original thought was that he was trying to lead police in the wrong direction.
Maybe they are downplaying the witness or want him to think he is in the clear, if this happens to be the case, the press conference yesterday was still handled very bad.
You would like to think that maybe they know what they are doing, but just based on the way they have handled things you can't help but assume its a circus.

Like I said yesterday, giving BRPD way too much credit if you think they’re playing some sort of 3D chess.

Nothing about that press conference made any sense. From the word salad intro to the white guy homicide guy angrily zipping up his organizer and showing his arse, it was basically the sum of all fears that these clowns truly are compromised and inept. The only thing that made any sense, ironically, was when they shifted the blame to the DA and judges. At least they played that card while they are a national embarrassment across the US with the Sandra Smiths of the world disgusted with them.

Perhaps a group of us old veterans should start a “group”.
We’re not as lean or quick as we once were. But we’re pissed off. We have training that we’ve never forgotten. A lot of us have experience that taught us to remain calm and collected under fire.
Maybe most importantly, most of us still go to the range. A lot. We all know how to properly handle a firearm and how to shoot straight. That gives us a big edge in that area.

Gangs don’t say, hey, you want to be in a gang. Go shoot a white person stopped in their car. That’s folklore.
Agree 100%, there's absolutely nothing, literally nothing, that could be more detrimental for your organization than going around killing white women. Nothing will get you taken down quicker. Gangs to the people on top are businesses the idea that they would intentionally be telling people not even fully in the gang yet to go around killing white female college students randomly for no reason in the deep south is nonsense just stop with this. I don't care if Farris Buellers sisters brothers cousins girlfriend told you this is definitely what happen, its not.

In general, are they normally “jumped in” instead by showing they can get the living shite knocked out of them and keep going?
Posted on 9/23/22 at 10:19 am to joemuggs
This is the only gang initiation that I know of
