Sort of depends on your definition of "innocent".
My wife watches murder porn (First 48,etc) and it never fails that a murder victims' family says that he was an "innocent kid".....except for stealing shoes and selling drugs, but he never did anything BAD....

I understand your point. Hell, the jails are full of people who proclaim their innocence. I was talking about the people like Allison, the grandma who was dragged down the street and had her arm severed, the Tulane student who was murdered while walking down the street, Oliver Thomas’ nieces friend, etc. The random acts of violence that seem to be more prevalent now than previously when NOLA earned the Murder Capital rep in the 90’s
