Tomorrow is two years since Allie was murdered. Praying her family somehow finds peace without any answers.

Please get this information to the family of Allison Rice:

1.The shell casings gathered at the scene of her murder contained DNA;

2. A suspect (teen black male) has been identified based on the DNA;

3. But because they can only prove he loaded the gun he has not been arrested;

4. This information is from within the BR Police Dept and our hope is only for justice to be done (any reward funds should go to as directed by her family) as this will be anonymous;

5. The decision to not arrest absent further evidence was by the current Baton Rouge Mayor.

6. We regret this tragedy occurred and justice has not yet occurred.

they could charge him with accessory and get him to give up the killer if it's not him

Jesus. That was overkill. These pos who do this need to be executed on the spot when found. Every time. Clean up our society,

I’ll believe this when further info comes out, sounds like a classic who said what scenario.

And you telling me young thug didn't have his phone on him? I'm sure they could pinpoint his exact whereabouts when the shooting happened.
Loaded the gun used to kill her.
Was at the scene of the crime.
Accessory to murder charge.
Let that go to trial.

Louisiana is different from many other states in that state law considers all those who aid and abet as principal offenders. So if you assist or encourage someone to commit a criminal offense, you will likely receive the same penalties as the principal offender.

These types often change their Boost phones a lot. Even their numbers.

I’m not sure where that BS a came from but there’s no way the Mayor could prevent an arrest with an investigation of this magnitude. They had state police even looking into it at one point.

I recognize that the City PD and Mayor may be corrupt to the max but this is just asinine.

If they have DNA on the casings and they're still refusing to make an arrest - if this is true - then the entire city needs to be rioting. Could you imagine if the races were the other way around?

When do we riot? Ascension needs to join in since she was from here and lots of people her knew her and her family. This has to be national news.

I free that the person responsible needs to burn in hell.
An arrest should not be made until there is enough evidence to garner a conviction.
Simple DNA on a shell casing alone is weak evidence. You need more evidence to add to that DNA shell casing.

Wasn't Kenneth Gleason convicted based on this exact same evidence?

DNA in shell casings plus other circumstantial evidence led to Gleason’s conviction. The DNA help start the investigation into Gleason where ballistics of shell casings and bullets recovered from the victim’s bodies were shown they could have been fired from a CZ 9.
They never found the gun but did recover from his computer searches for a silencer for that type of gun.
Other circumstantial evidence was also introduced.

So, DNA on a single shell casing alone is weak evidence until other evidence is produced.

“ 3. But because they can only prove he loaded the gun he has not been arrested;”

Police cannot prove that he loaded the gun.
It only proves that he was in contact with that single shell casing. That alone is not evidence of the crime of murder. It is the start of further investigation of the person who produced the DNA.

They want evidence that will result in a conviction, not a simple arrest.
