perhaps if Allison were a drug dealer/CD sales entrepreneur our city officials would find the time to reach out to the family

I moved back to Monroe....its the same.

Monroe isn’t too bad. The crime rate is high but it’s like BR used to be. The crime is pretty bottled up to the ghetto parts you know not to go to. It’s not spread across the whole town like BR is now.

I absolutely agree with this. There are still some dedicated individuals working there who are no doubt working their asses off on this case. I do not fault them for the missteps of their "leadership". Please don't throw them in with the bad.

And I 100% believe they will get the people who did this.

Murphy Paul refuses to fill the ranks of homicide. They currently only have 10 detectives in there, and that number is quite possibly about to drop to 9. That’s not nearly the amount of detectives needed for the amount of death investigations they work annually. He and his administration have known of this issue for years but refuse to fix it.

Tonight is The Shed’s fundraiser dinner. Supposed to be $100/ticket and it goes to the reward fund.

Who is the 10th detective right now and what does he or she know about Hillary Clinton?

The 10th may be getting moved into a supervisor position. And if/when that happens comes, they won’t be back-filling that spot anytime soon.

Especially when you think of all the city/parish employees on the payroll that provide little benefit to their community.

What does Murphy Paul have against homicide detectives to keep the numbers so low without addressing the problem?

Is he jealous because he’s never worked or solved a homicide case personally?
