Looks like the local goonies have successfully kept quiet enough about this for it to slide on out of the headlines.

Yep and like I said. That fricking junkie George Floyd got 2 funerals, presidential speeches, statues and golden caskets.
We can’t even get the president of LSU to say something about one of his own students.
fricking pathetic.
There is no saving this place. The poster that thinks things are changing in New Orleans is delusional. Nothing is going to happen. Sure some rich white people are making some noise. Nothing will happen. You can’t change the demographics of the city. One half doesn’t care about violence, they will always vote one way.

easy to accomplish when the media is complicit in downplaying the story.

The story is all over the news. Local TV and the newspaper just covered the vigil they held st LSU in her honor. It’s not being hushed up.
The Advocate today has a front page story of the B section. Local news had a story last night about President Tate giving her a degree at the next graduation. They interviewed the cops last night for an update. Her name is being lifted up.

I was a little surprised by what appeared to be low turnout there whenever WAFB showed the amphitheater on the 6pm(?) news.

Ah, ok. The OT is my sole source of news and it seems to have died down here.

I was listening and not watching. I heard the story.

an innocent college student's life being taken is not a narrative.
You suck.

Are you surprised? I was pissed for a few days, but it became obvious they wanted this to go away, and they weren't serious about doing anything.

This thread is dedicated to Allie and her family and the apprehension of the tPOS who senselessly took her life. Take your bullshite elsewhere.
If you’re such a big baller, Bay Area elite like you pretend to be here, why don’t you contribute to the reward fund to catch her killers? You felon.

It seems like they could get some DNA or something on the bullet casings. I’d be willing to bet the person(s) that did this has been arrested before.

You liberals are heartless wolves masquerading as compassionate sheep. You frickers are going to regret comments like this one day real soon. An innocent girl was brutally murdered by subhuman animals. No matter how much you want to blame it on her, or on nonequitable "society"... They are still subhuman animals and the media is not covering the crime as they need to because it doesn't fit "their" narrative..

We won't... Even as the Supersaints of the world try to minimize it. We will yell louder. We can't bring her back, but we can try to stop these vicious animals from being allowed by our idiot EBR administration and EBR judges to do these murders for sport and get let out almost immediately to do it again.

DNA from casings is less than 1% retrieval for standard methods. There is a lab IIRC in SoCal that has a process that increases that to 25% or so, but I think it is the only one in the country currently however this is from something I read a couple of years ago, it may be different now. LA, like a lot of states, takes DNA samples from all criminals that go on paper so there is a decent chance for a match if it can be recovered. The question is how far behind is LA in processing the DNA from criminals into the database. States are notorious for being years behind in this regard.
