Alleged Rapist Falls Asleep While Attempting to Rape Baton Rouge Woman in Her Home

According to reports, the victim told investigators that Tullier unlawfully entered her home armed with a knife around 9:30 AM. She said that Tullier made her consume some alcohol and then forced her to perform oral sex on him. Tullier then attempted to perform intercourse on the victim but was unable to obtain an erection. At that time he forced the victim to perform oral sex on him again but fell asleep a short time later.
The victim notified law enforcement about the incident and upon arrival to the residence, they found Tullier still asleep, in the victim's bed. The knife and ski mask were located in the residence also.
Tullier was arrested and charged with 1st Degree Rape and Home Invasion, then transported to EBR Parish Prison.

It seems if they charged him with first degree rape, it was more than an attempted rape.
