No where to be, no where go, nobody to answer to and nobody nagging.
Free balling and eating a turkey sandwich when I feel like it while watching football.
Thankful!!!!

I’m doing absolutely nothing today either and I’m ok with that. Maybe I’m getting old

I wish. We are hosting 30 and the last week I've aged 10 years getting everything ready.
Oh and frick you never ending oak tree leaves
My arms are about to fall off from raking and blowing and reraking and blowing all the leaves again that appeared overnight....

One of the years in between getting divorced and getting remarried I decided I didn’t feel like doing the family thing and had a really nice Thanksgiving alone. Hope you have a good day!

It's just me and the wife. Walked the dogs, now about to nap before eating.

Not the first time for me, and it won't be the last.

When I was a single guy I always volunteered to work on holidays if necessary so my married baws could be home with family, plus it paid well.

I used to do the same. Being the rig sucks no matter what day it was. But without kids I didn't mind taking a few days for someone that had kids

I would swap duty days with the married guys. I'd work their Thanksgiving and Christmas in exchange for them working my New Years and St. Patrick's Day duty.

It’s definitely better than spending it with Awgusta who is feeding his family low grade dog food.

My Thanksgiving with few exceptions since the mid-90s I enjoy the quiet
