No. I'm not going to sue the newspaper because they wrote a story about me or my company that's not true. I don't deserve their money.
I’m sure you were also in the Sandman threads and equally as angry at him suing…..

Somewhat, yes.
So in your mind, Rittenhouse deserves to sue the likes of cnn and others?

What is your motivation for trying to minimize what he did here? Are you a listener/follower or just playing the us v them game that dominates your world view?
Not much. I don't like the sue happy culture of this country. Look and listen to people on this board and just wherever. At the drop of a hat, the answer is to sue.
This maniac on the internet is telling lies about our tragedy, well we need 150 million. Wasn't the original number 300?
I dont listen to him or follow him. I watched the Joe Rogan episode with him on it and didn't finish it.

You are part of the sue culture
"sue culture" is suing McDonalds because you spilled your own hot coffee on you
"sue culture" is not suing newspapers because they publish false information that harms or destroys your business
holy shite

Jones admitted in court this week that Sandy Hook was not a hoax, yet advocated and advanced that outlandish theory over years for the sole purpose of generating revenue for his company.
A thoroughly cruel, despicable human being.
I can't imagine why anyone willingly embraces the hoax that Sandy Hook was a staged, elaborate lie. It's beyond my comprehension.
Jones should be forced to view in a secure setting the forensic photographic evidence of 6 year old kids and their mutilated, bloody bodies some with heads blown off.
All very and sadly real to the parents who buried their cherished little ones, the loss of children by any means every parents worse nightmare.

I’ve got no problem with that. Maybe more people holding media accountable for telling the truth would help alleviate the fake news for clicks and add sales problem (though I won’t hold my breath).

I doubt he pays it. That’s the thing about civil suits, man good luck getting paid.

Sue happy is getting in a fender bender and suing the at fault party for no reason.
Suing for public defamation of character when it can affect your reputation or business is the smart thing to do. Especially in a world where news travels at the speed of the internet.

an Infowars business officer telling Jones that the company had earned $800,000 gross in selling its products in a single day, which would amount to nearly $300 million in a year.
So a guy lies and is proven guilty and gets a slap on the wrist (4 Million is just 1.33% of 300 Million). This is why click baiting is bad for Merica!

No fan of Jones at all, also I hate bullshite lying and being provacative, but this seems like a wrong verdict and sets a bad precendent.
I know these parents have been to hell and back, I can't imagine what hell they are in. Losing s child in that manner, kniwing they died in fear and pain is something a parent will never get over. but some dude saying it was a hoax shouldn't be turned into a multimillion dollar lawsuit.
People lie about things all the time. Those lies typically piss someone off. Twitter and other social media platforms is full of this type of stuff.
Did it really cause harm to the parents that this asshat said it was a hoax? Im sure it pissed them off, but harm? Seems to set the precedent that if a person tells a lie or conveys false info, then they can sue because if it makes them angry.
Can the wife of the retired police officer who was murdered by blm rioters sue CNN and all the other media for praising blm while they murdered her husband in cold blood?
This opens a big door. But Im sure like everything else, itll only be used against right leaning entities.
Quick edit:
Agree with me or disagree with me. Don't care. I've decided to have my opinion on things and screw everyone else's from here on out. Done having discussions. If you think I'm wrong, cool. Keep your opinion, I won't try to change it because I really don't care about your opinion.

Awesome time to derail this thread with a discussion of how the hot coffee case was legit and has gotten a bad rap.
