If reports are to be believed Springsteen was actually below the legal limit. He did not cause any problems so I don't see the big deal.

If that’s true then he has a right to be pissed. Looks like you can be charged with BAC lower than .08% in NJ and you have to fight it in court.

you can be charged with DUI/DWI just because a cop wants to, don't have to blow or take a field test, unfortunately, the expense, hassle, and repercussions are about the same as if you are convicted, this will be a non-issue for the Boss

DUIs are no worse than a parking ticket if you know the right people but MADD and others have made people think they’re on par with first degree murder.

Well he told the cop he had just had 2 shots of tequila while sitting on his motorcycle, had an empty fifth of Petron sitting with him and also told the cop he was in fact leaving on his motorcycle.
