Aren't you the guy who used to work at Olive Garden and used to defend them and claim that their "chefs" made soups and sauces from scratch?
That was me actually. My wife was the GM of an Olive Garden for several years. They do make their sauces daily. Most have a powdered seasoning mix they add. The alfredo is completely from scratch. They make them each morning then bag it and put in a chiller.

As long as they keep the brewery open and the locations with bars inside. I do my normal grocery shopping elsewhere.

Hea Jones. Haven't seen you in a while.
Was driving down Cythia Drive the other day and saw a free range organic chicken I bet you could have for free if you could catch him. He was eating grass seed beside a runoff ditch. I bet he as free range and organic as any chicken on the shelf at Walmart or Whole Foods

It's convenient, clean, the clientele is great, great choices, plenty of parking (which is important in a city), and when it's snowing out there's valet parking.
Pick any one of those reasons that you like best.

I hope the one in Jackson makes the cut. We don't have much.

Accidentally gave you an upvote. My bad.
To your obviously never shopped at Walmart questions: USDA prime meat and halibut at Walmart?
I shop several different stores, Whole Foods, Fresh Market, Trader Joe's, Winn Dixie, Walmart and Publix. Most pleasant is a new Walmart neighborhood market. Also least pricey. Great selection without being filled with frenzied mutant customers. It is my go- to store.
Yes Walmart sells excellent USDA prime beef. I buy it there regularly.
Don't know about halibut, but that fish is not on my menu. I think I have seen it, though.
Whole Foods' overpriced flagship 365 brand extra virgin olive oil was recently outed by inspectors for being among a few other brands cited for diluting the extra virgin olive oil's content with inferior oils. So they ain't quite as virtuous as some have supposed.
I get my XVOO from Trader Joe's.

I have never seen this.

There's nothing wrong with choosing to pay more for a better experience.
Calandro's prices are easily on par with, if not worse than, Whole Foods. But you bet your arse the big "WE DO NOT ACCEPT EBT/FOOD STAMPS" sign on the front of their store encourages folks who can afford it to keep shopping there.

Is my go to now.
Plus with their app, they credit me for any item sold by a competitor, for a cheaper price
Everyone that we have had over for steaks, told me its the best they've had in a while. EVERY SINGLE TIME. My parents now make me grab them steaks when I go to the market

you are correct - I don't know them, however you were mentioning her complaining about something that she was allergic to and why she didn't just pick it off.
my reply was to explain why she couldn't. if her allergy is bad enough she can't. some Gluten Allergies are worse than others. for some, Gluten contamination will put them int he hospital - others a bad case of the runs
