Why is this acceptable under the guise of being “cultural” when worn by people who have never been to Africa? I come from a long line of dirt poor farmers but I can’t show up in overalls.

If you are talking about being allow to use their “culture” to be able to bypass dress code standards at work, schools, & elsewhere that everyone else has to follow then I agree it’s ridiculous.

I'd rather "African garb" than pants that are barely raised above the knees.

Yes you can. You just don’t have the courage to do so.

Totally bro. That's iNsAnE!! Can we outlaw grown men wearing jerseys when they don't even play the sport? The other day, I saw a fat guy wearing running shoes; he's not fooling anyone. Last week, I walked in on my wife taking pics of herself in a French maid outfit. That dumb bitch has never been to France, nor has she ever cleaned a house. So stupid.

Anyone who would wear that shite is probably doing it hoping someone will tell them they can't wear it or make some comment frowning on it... Just so they could make a big deal out of it.

Funny you say that because during my first flight to Kenya, there were more white people than black people. For such a disgusting continent, white people love going there.

But you want to send them there because you think they belong there. So they are showing affinity for the place you want to send them to.

So dress up in white robes, sheets and pointy headed masks and bring a illuminated cross....and celebrate your heritage as well....who is stopping you.

The company I worked my whole career was very conservative. There were really no stated rules concerning the way you could dress, wear your hair, etc. but folks that didn’t conform to professional standards invariably found their way out of the company.
