I don't think use has gone up, it's just not as taboo so people are now more honest with polling.

So adults for the most part are law-abiding citizens. Now that it's legal, some are partaking.

Although it definitely has gone up. I live in colorado, and I know several people that smoke now that its legal. I can assume that is true in other states as well.
