They don’t deserve praise for responding immediately. The question everyone should be asking, loudly, is “what are you going to do to keep this kind of shite from happening in the first place?”

it being a mass shooting or gang violence is kind of irrelevant, so I don't see the upside in lying about it
In fact, I'd rather it was a lone gunman than realizing a chunk of our population here has become so fricking animalistic they see no issue at all with opening fire at each other in such a public place like that

My wife's friend is married to a law enforcement member in Ascension Parish and he has told her for 5 years to avoid the Mall of La at all costs because it intersects multiple gang territories.
