Louisiana is a ghetto/trashy/low IQ shithole. Nothing will ever change and people will continue to do shitty things here. I love Louisiana but it’s the worst state in the country for a reason.

Put a Parish jail tax on the upcoming ballot and I bet it passes with flying colors. Make it sales so EVERYONE pays it.

I’m in Ascension and I’d even pay an EBR jail tax if it means I can take my family into Baton Rouge and feel safe knowing Hillar Moore can keep the ghetto fricks in jail where they belong instead of cutting deals to let them out.

The problems in BR have gotten significantly worse. In no metric, including traffic, has there been an improvement in the quality of life and safety. That has become a community problem, not an elected leader problem although they share some blame.

It’s beyond my comprehension how a segment of society has no regard for human life and our system mollycoddles them. They shouldn’t be on the street to begin with in many instances. We have a right to go public places and not worry about being caught up in a gang beef. I woke up thinking that 17 year old girl. As a mom, I can’t even fathom.

Listened to the wafb news some this morning. Is it accurate saying not 5 arrested only one arrested and he was arrested on drug charges?

Maybe we need to bring back public hangings in front of parish courthouses. Automatic death penalty for those convicted of murder, rape, child molesters, and armed robbery. Hell, throw in drug dealers, too. Let them hang swinging in the breeze for two or three days afterwards before dumping them in the swamp as gator food. For petty stuff bring back stockades so the general public can shame the criminals and throw rotten vegetables at them. There are so many drug addicts I don’t know what to do about them other than throw them into forced detox…the hard way. Just deal with the withdrawals. After doing that a few times they may learn. If someone is sentenced to hard labor, make them do some hard labor, even if it’s just digging ditches for no purpose. Dig a ditch, fill it in. Dig it again, fill it again. Repeat day in, day out for a few years. That’ll give you time to think about things. Make the sentences mandatory; the same across the board so no one can cry racism and activist judges can’t usurp justice.
