So are Catholics not Christian or are Protestants not Christian?

Both are Christians, obviously. That said, the Catholic Church is the original and the true church that Christ founded on earth. There is no argument with that.

Protestants are Christians, but have chosen to discard some of the original Catholic beliefs, but they are still Christians. The majority of what Protestants believe came from the Catholic Church and of course from the gospels.

I don’t remember being surveyed? Thing is, you can always achieve the results you want in surveys by targeting a specific group within a select population

Not only has that happened, but I've had Christians tell me to "go to hell."

Then they were not saved and they did not have Jesus in their heart which means they might be calling themselves Christians they might even be going to church, but they are not what I would call Christians

And no one that is alive right now is absolutely condemned to going to hell there is always the chance of salvation

Just admit that you are a sinner and that Jesus Christ is the son of God and rose on the 3rd simply accepting that as truth will gain you entry into heaven

at least I'll be there

If you do not believe that Jesus was the Messiah, God, the Savior, and rose from the dead then your aren’t Christian. You may respect what Jesus did and love his teachings, but you aren’t a Christian.

It's a tough one. I have had a lot of issues with faith, and I've almost always had the belief that Jesus makes sense when you figure God, being perfect, did not understand us imperfect mortals. It was his method of understanding to be human is to err. It also makes sense, to me at least, in a general softer undertone from the Old testament to the New testament, because he's seeing people as more than just not being perfect.

If the percentage is true it is no wonder we are a mess. The stunning aspect - one of - is we are made in His image [the Triune, itself], for the purpose to relate to the Holy Triune.

As for the establishment of the church - I hear what has been voiced and believed. My issue is this, what do we do with Paul. He certainly wasn't subordinate to Peter.

What facts were used to identify the testing pool as "Christians"?

The most recent Bluster by the pope, he didn't mention Christ. It appears he has interjected himself into the Trinity.

Takes a lot more faith to be an atheist, honestly.

My brother and his wife go to church and say they're Christians but seem to believe the Bible and most of the theology are jiust metaphors with some goodexamples for life.

They live in a small town and not being Christian wouldn't be good for social and business relations but that' seems to be about as deep as their interest is.

I imagine they're are a lot of people that feel this way.

So Jesus was 100% man and 100% God? It makes no sense. And not sure why it is necessary. Just to preserve monotheism? To make the sacrifice sufficient?

Jesus sacrifice has to be unconditional like gods curse. You don’t have a choice to be born into a fallen world, and don’t have a choice to be saved by gods grace. If god gets what he is said to truly want, then all will be in heaven.

That’s a weird way to word Protestants Asking to follow the teachings of Christ instead of some guy in Rome 1500 years later who claims he can change the teachings of Christ

I call BS.

If you don't believe in The Trinity, you're not Christian. Simple as that.
