You guys are missing the boat here. They are doing this because they want you to forget about all the tranny stuff and go back to mindlessly buying BL. They lose money now and make it back later when you buy more BL not on a rebate.
So you want to stick it to BL? Buy this crap, collect the rebate, and make AB InBev lose even more money. Surely most of you baws will get drunk enough to drink this at some point. Then go back to buying whatever other beer you want.

that would make sense only if it is Inbev doing the rebate. Beer distributors are required by some breweries to destroy cans after they sit for so long for quality control reasons. The majors are pretty strick about it and it is a cost that gets put on the distributor.
i can see the local distributor offering the rebate just to avoid having to pick up a bunch of cases just to destroy them

You don't have much of a palate. Even the big beverage domestic light beers all have a distinctive taste, at least what little taste they have is different from the rest.

See , Bud Light is not trying that hard. Drop your actual store price by 50% and watch those sales increase. Now, profit may decrease, but you’ll get your sales back quickly.
