I've heard that as well.
My husband just wants to sleep and be left alone when he is sick. Drives me crazy cause I want to go full nurse mode and care for him when he is sick and he wants none of it.

I rarely get sick, so when I do it is usually something that knocks me on my arse.

I was listening to a radio show that gives you random knowledge from studies or whatever, and he said there was study showing that men have more heat receptors in the brain than women do, and that's why a fever/head cold feels worse to them.

I prefer Chicken w/ Cayenne Pepper, but that's all I want (Always have to do it myself bc the wifey never uses enough Cayenne). If it lasts more than a day, I'll mix in crackers & Gatorade.

Its either 100% healthy (which is 99.9% of the time) or 100% debilitating and I can’t get out of bed or off the toilet, depending on what I have.

I don't get sick enough to warrant napping or "resting" but when I do get that sick I'll kindly ask my family to let me rest for a few minutes and then I'll get back to doing shite.
