What’s with all the recent reminiscing threads about the past?

Those of us born in the late 70's got to be a kid in the 80s and 90s so we were able to experience two awesome decades.

If those decades had the things we have now, those decades would be like the decade we're in.

Were abortion rates really that high in 80-81?

Wow. Could have been me!

You are such a punk… you act like the world started in the year 2000. You have zero appreciation for what the past decades did to help what we have today. For someone who thinks he is so smart, your are pretty much a dumbass….

That’s what made those years so great. Nobody cared about things like “social pathology!”

I like how you post I'm wrong about stuff when I posted data

Also, the nostalgia in OP is incorrect. Blockbuster was a 90s thing. In most of the 80s, VHS rental was from independent outlets.

Blockbuster didn't even form until the mid-80s

Your first thought is abortion? WTF is wrong with you? The 80s was MTv, $1.99 Mad Dog and The Beastie Boys.

Both audio and video cassettes sucked donkey dick then, and they suck donkey dick now. Being nostalgic about them blows my mind

Do you ever wonder why nobody irl likes you or wants to hangout so you have to resort to trying to get cred on a message baked?

Great tume to be a kid. It seemed like everything was geared towards us - music, movies, cartoons, toy stores....
