What state are you in? Plenty of places in the US that Lyme is rare.

Rub some icy hot all around that area. That will make you forget about the rash!

Nope. Steel wool and rubbing alcohol. Remember, if it doesn't sting, it's not working.

I get heat rashes in the same spot during the summer months when working outside, sweating and chafing.

I use Cortisone Cream and it works great. Bathe, wipe the area dry and apply the Cortisone Cream, wear loose fitting clothes and it should disappear in a day, two at most.

Best case outcome for us is that you can’t post here ever again.

So whatever gets us there is the prescribed therapy.

Did you see the tick? I think it has to be a lonestar tick and has to be attached for 24 hours+. Seed ticks don't carry it. You're likely just going to have a ball itch for about a month.

A rash could be bad. You should be safe and get double vaxed, double boosted and double masked for 2 weeks... you know, to slow the spread and not overwhelm the nurses.

No. It's not a bacterial infection. It's a kind of fungus. You need a liniment for that.

Try Icy Hot.

Did you get the tick somewhere in Louisiana?

If so there has been no known cases of Lyme disease originating in Louisiana (not saying it's impossible, just very unlikely).

If you got it up in the northeast go to the doctor and they'll probably put you on preventative Lyme disease treatment.

They also carry other diseases, such as the one that makes you allergic to red meat.

If it looks like a target around the bite, you've got Lyme disease.
