The OT has provided a welcome relief these past two weeks. I'm fighting bladder cancer and two rounds of strong chemo almost did me in, nevermind the cancer. 12 out of 14 days in the hospital.

The big hurricane thread was and is great to focus on something (after a brief instance when it seems the projections would keep moving north/east). Good info. Not as much silliness as some hurricane threads in the past, but some humor

And of course other everyday OT threads on anything and everything.

So thanks, OT. And keep it going.

Good luck to you! My mother in law is dealing with cancer herself and the chemo has put a hurting on her. I pray that both of y'all have good results from the treatment

Awesome baw! Despite a handful of knuckleheads, this place is great.

Wishing you well good sir!

Prayers baw.

I took 2 rounds of chemo out of 5 oncologist said i needed and he pulled me off as it was making me too sick. Dehydrated, platelet level too low, hand/ foot syndrome, extreme fatigue, constant nausea, nose bleeds, easily out of breath, frequent diarrhea.

Yeah. It is powerful stuff. I had no desire at all to eat for well over a week. I'm eating good now but having to build up my strength for walking and getting around.

Next step is an MRI to see if it impacted the cancer. My body is still too weak for anymore chemo or any surgeries.
