I lived in Bossier City for the last 13 years, working as a remote employee for FIS Global, the world's largest FINTECH. My job was pretty cool, i got up to 107k, 111k if you count the off hours support. But even though I withheld money and paid a hella taxes.. my wife was a School Counselor (you know.. making the BIG bucks) and we never withheld enough. So every year, like clock work, we owed an additional $6,000 to $7,000 in taxes. We bought a nice house, lived there... did the whole married and happy thing. The older son did premiere soccer for CABOSA... while the younger son dove into "professional gaming" at the age of 8. We ran up debt... I took as much as I could in the divorce so that she could have a chance at a better life.

I was a core Operational Support for FIS licensed clients in the banking industry. I quit my job in March because I foresaw that my Chapter 13 bankrupcy I was in was going to be dismissed... due to me being poor and paying as much alimony and child support as I could (trying to attone for my mistakes) This techincally would have extended my existing Chapter 13 bankrupcy another 5 years once the courts got back to working, leaving me in a 8 year chapter 13 with two college age students not eligible for aid because of our low six figure income.

And I was not able to pay my taxes because alimony was disallowed as a tax deduction thanks to MAGA or whatever the tax plan yall came up with for corporate tax cuts.

My Louisiana educated attorneys at the Cook Law Firm of Shreveport did not disclose this to me when I filed in January 2019. I didnt discover it until right before Christmas. I tried asking for a raise.. I was at 107k / yr at the time, but I needed 128k with a 15k bonus to have enough to pay the taxes and make it worthwhile to work. I was living on $210 a month in groceries. The cost of college was a dream and no pell grants or scholarships for this abortion of an education effort my son strung together (common core disconnected parents from the ability to tutor their children FYI.. yall gotta fix this mess).

My (pending the courts going back to work in Benton, LA) ex-wife filed for divorce after a series of tragic decisions on my part. I was injured in New York while out celebrating in a Dominican Resteraunt in Elmood, NY. Sangria's are strong up there... My BAC was about .045 or something. I woke up in the hospital with a broken neck after having almost died because apparently my arse dove into a trashcan instead of the back of the cab I was trying to get into.

Let's just say I am ok with how things turned out, and I wish the best for my ex-wife. I am ok with being public on my opinions now, as they do not reflect anybody but my own belief.

Don't anchor this. I have nothing but a knuckle check for you if anchored! Please let the truth speak for once! Don't change my title!

I will ride, die, loot, riot, burn... no. It's not true.. I am a good American, and I do not protest. And I pay taxes and respect the rule of law. I just beg that you hear my voice and follow my adivce.

My prayer, to whatever GOD you worship, is that he passes the wisdom to you to discuss this with President Trump and within 48 hours an executive order is crafted de-scheduling and removing all penalties surrounding the classification of marijuana as a drug. Chill... watch Netflix, play Rocket League, enjoy your life without living in paranoid fear of the police because the vast (over 70% of people in Lousiana) think that marijuana should be legal and there is no trust in a para-militarized police force. Cease and desist your criminal infringement on our lives. I am a much nicer stoner than a drunk! Ask anyone who knows me.

Please excuse my typos and grammar. I am a product of the Lousiana education system.

Signed,
John Hobgood

Edit: I wish I was on the same side of the law as the Police and Government but they will not legalize. I think it is a tragedy. This is the most actionable solution you can perform RIGHT NOW to get ANTIFA and other idiots to go home. And I am literally a nobody.. I have no affiliations or organizations or job or anything. Just a computer and a dream of being rich... but I'm freaking not rich. And I'm dumb as a bag of rocks, but have high IQ. A curse.. I am related to Benedict Arnold and George Washington on my mother's side.

-J

[Edit 2] Please: let's reclassify marijuana as a vegetable and move on.

There's much easier and shorter ways to say you want legal herb.

BTW - Edwards would never allow this. He's staunchly opposed to recreational marijuana.

You don’t deserve a bailout. You did this to yourself by living above your means, driving drunk, and taking on unnecessary debt. Spend less money on stupid crap for your kids, uber when you’re drinking, and stop expecting the government to bail you out.
