Tell her the company is considering a discounted group gym membership but needs x number of commitments- ask if she’s willing to join.

Not every handicap is visible. With that said, it gets abused by people who really don't need it.

Oh, and your Mcdonalds manager is watching the parking lot?

Is the tag a valid tag or a fake of some sort? If it is real leave her alone. Why not have an, "Anonymous" person call the police and complain a person is parking in that spot for, "Weeks" and their handicap tag seems fake.

Making a trip outside now to investigate the tag. Will report back.

Maybe see if she parks in a handicap space at a grocery store and call in an anonymous complaint.

Why wait? Call that complaint in this morning when she shows up for work.

Does the tag appear to be legal?

If so... you and your boss need to leave this one alone.

Be funny if one of your co-workers posted here.

Nor can a visual, auditory, kidney, liver, heart, lung, circulatory...

He should start by asking the OMV/DMV for a complete comprehensive list of every acceptable issue warranting a tag in his state and start eliminating them one by one.

A faux handicap parker is a major hindrance of safety and ethics. We can't allow people to take advantage of our society like this.

I'm pretty sure it's illegal to fraudently have/use a tag. If you think it's not legit, contact the police.

My mom had a heart attack earlier this year, and she got one for a few months after so she didn't have to walk as far. Once her cardiac rehab ended, she stopped using it.

The investigation should be easy if you have a competent HR office: “I’ve noticed that you park in the disabled/handicapped spot each day. Under the ADA, if we learn or reasonably suspect that you have a disability, we have to start the reasonable accommodation process. Please meet with me tomorrow to discuss whether you need an accommodation.”

But if it’s just a bunch of jack offs running the show (sounds like it because boss turned to a TD posting jackoff instead of HR), go ahead and write the employee a check. You’ll screw it up.

Could it be possible to add a sign that says:

“Handicapped parking for customers only”

Or

“Handicapped/Customer parking limited to 2 hours”?

The first sign would or should have her breach the subject with you or her boss.

The second sign would test her reflexes once a tow truck arrived to tow it away.

I've been watching her eyesight, appears to be normal. No glasses, doesn't squint. What's the best course of action here?

You must confront her and demand to prove her disability. It's the only way.

If "the boss" is telling an employee to investigate, I'm fairly certain we aren't dealing with a company that has a "competent HR office".

Like already mentioned, she probably has someone in her family that she totes around to Dr. visits, shopping, etc. and keeps the mirror tag in her car. Then uses it to get prime parking spots.

Is it illegal and unethical, yes, but are you going to risk a lawsuit over this???? Tell the boss the balls in his court and you don't want to open yourself for potential problems.

Kind of like those assholes with "Emotional Support Dogs" that can buy the body harness off e-bay and they can bring their damn dogs wherever they go.
