This is a weird story.

Could get cheap used tires for around $500

Could rent a car for a couple hundred

But they'd rather be stranded in the city where they were robbed?

Ok

Makes sense why it was parked on the ground level. That garage, like many, is really tight to maneuver around.

Those parking garages are straight cash cows. Between the Hyatt and the parking mgmt company this shite needed to be taking care of Wednesday.

But it's a prime tourist destination, with World Class cuisine!

Or god forbid, change their flight to New Orleans from Orlando instead of just “missing” the vacation

we were supposed to have fun here, but now, it’s like, it’s not fun anymore.”

ya don't say ?

They called their car insurance company but said they are nearing a renewal and the insurance provider said their new rate would double if they filed a claim.

Ya Id love to see what these people look like.

Not victim blaming but they seem like the type to dramatize reality.

Reaching out to the media is the first sign they just want attention

I don’t want to blame them because the exact same thing happened to me when I Lived in nola.

There’s just so many sensible solutions to this that it’s hard not to be a dick about it.

I really don't understand NOLA as a tourist destination.

think it should be mandated that New Englanders and Modwesterners spend a couple weeks in NOLA, Jackson, or Baton Rouge to complete their education.

Don't leave out the folks in the NW. They have no clue.

Something is off with this story. One would think a valet parking lot would be continuously busy and someone stealing 4 tires would be pretty obvious.
