He’s got a great case, just not against the police. He should sue the mayor. She’s the one that let it get out of control. She’s the one that told police to stand down and relinquish control. She literally ordered them to not do their job.

Anyone can sue anyone else for anything. One of the reasons I support Qualified Immunity for LEO’s. Because if we lift that they will be getting sued twice a shift by police haters. That being said, this dude is SOL.
SCOTUS has already ruled that police don’t have an affirmative duty to protect you from crime or harm. Think about that next time someone tells you to give up your guns and just dial 911.
