Rider could just have easily said that they did not want their campus parking lots filled to over-capacity everyday at lunch-time and an extra 500 non-student jammed into their food court.

No, she is not.
Resigning one's position over differences in policy is classic personal reaction. Liberals, instead, start "screaming" get talking points and hit up every media outlet that will have them, that will give them all the time they want to insult, slander, libel that which they are protesting. They will organize marches and photo opportunities with pithy little slogans and DEMAND that everyone who sees and hears them must agree with them and drive the business off of campus.
Did this lady do any of that? It seems not. It seems she spoke of her principles and beliefs, then resigned.
