Good for her. And shame on the university. Ckick fil a is a great company that treats everyone great. Yes, the owners have their beliefs, but they don't go out saying they are against gays. Rider U is basically saying they are against God's laws. I would rather please God than a small percentage of gays

Chances are, she did not resign just for the Chikfila alone. There has probably been a list of things that the university has done that goes against her beliefs. When the university decided against Chikfila that was probably just the last straw for her.

She apparently figured out her opinion as a dean held no clout, so she stepped down from that role.
It's not like quitting her faculty position would make her more principled.
