I know a lot of people in warehouse work that are struggling because their healthy employees chose to stay at home for two weeks and collect a check rather than show up to work.

For anyone considered essential that is going to work, thank you.

I know this is likely a troll, but you're an idiot.

Sadly, it’s probably not a troll. Louisiana is full of idiots and most, outside of Nola and JP, are in complete denial of CV.

It’s not a troll. It’s something I’ve personally witnessed.

Per Corporate: We are aware of the Shelter In Place order issued by the City of ^&%$#@##$%. This Order identifies financial institutions as an “Essential Business” that may remain open. If you have the ability to work from home you should do so; however, our doors will remain open for those who are not able to work remotely. Please reach out to your designated Human Resources Business Partner if you have any questions or concerns.

Your welcome.

Also have a few co workers that I know are healthy and using this an an excuse to have some time off.

I’m just grateful to be able to work

Because your definition of essential business is flawed. It begs the question, "How many American lives need to be lost before you care enough to sacrifice a temporary hit in the wallet?

People staying home doesn't necessarily have anything to do with actually being sick.

The fact that everyone who "thought" they weren't infected went out instead of staying home, is the entire reason we are in this mess.

That's a pretty severe understatement. How about...

How many American lives need to be lost before you care enough to let your small business fail?

Still a reasonable question, just with more accurate consequences.
