As long as I get my food I don’t really care about great service at a fast food place. Just get my shite and be on my way. Never really had an issue.

well, there's the problem.

How you gonna get your food when the people responsible for getting your food are either too busy talking amongst themselves or on their phone or otherwise just not interested in getting you your food?

Excuse me, but yes they are both owned by RBI and have both gone to trash. We all know every major franchise is pretty much owned by big companies behind them. Don’t play semantics.

My dad told me that the manager of the government st store gave him a tour of the back and told him how all the chicken was seasoned. I'm pretty sure it's all pre-seasoned and brought in frozen so all the idiots have to do is drop it in the fryer so they can't mess it up...

grant it this was a long time ago

If Popeyes would fire all employees and hire only Chick-fil-A employees at all locations it would be the #1 chain in the country.

All of the employees at L.A. area Popeyes are Hispanic and I’ve never had a bad experience at any of them. I’m sure ICE is gonna come along eventually and frick that all up.

You don’t know what semantics means. You said it was owned by Burger King. It’s not. Burger King is a separate company that is affiliated with Popeyes because they have common ownership. That’s not semantics.

Who TF still eats Popeyes in 2025???

Aside from the garbage food, you couldn’t pay me to deal with their shitty employees.

They are by far the worst employees in the history of fast food.

I’ve seen their job applications. It just has one question- Are you the stupidest laziest motherfricker on the planet?

Anyone who answers yes gets hired.

Popeyes in Texas are next level because they replace the big mamas with hard working Mexicans. Clean restaurants, decent service, fresh food. Incredible
Can attest to this. The workers here in Austin can barely speak English but they never get my order wrong and have it ready in less than a minute.

The one in Picayunne MS is damn near chick-fil-a level efficient and they gonna tell you to have a blessed day. I was speechless after my first drive through experience when moving to the area.

If I won the powerball, I would buy or build a Popeyes close to my house and pay people enough that it would the best Popeyes in the world. And change a few things back to where it was, like the dirty rice.

Every time this subject comes up, it reminds me of this gem of an article on EDSBS

Popeyes is Perfect and You Are the Problem

quote:

You don’t get to ask things of the indifferent and superior natural world, and you do not get to ask things of Popeyes. That is the point: in a late-stage capitalism where eventually the robots will simply bring your customized, allergen-free consumer goods to your house, Popeyes does not deliver. It does not cater to your whims. In fact, it will deny them, and give you something else. It will hand you spicy when you want mild and mild when you want spicy because sometimes too much fulfillment softens you, and makes you unappreciative for the random grace of unanswered prayers.

Sometimes you need to be told no. When that time arrives, Popeyes is happy to deliver.

Aren't internet statistics great!! So you have been to 4,000 different Popeyes? Does Alaska do any better than Maine? So do you think the Bhutan location is any better than the Bangladesh? How would you compare Romanian locations with Nepals? Your personal experience is not the same as the whole worlds sir...get over yourself.
