New Orleans is an absolute shithole. A stain on the state. I know the NOLA apologists will argue muh food, but the truth is, even the food as turned into some transplants representation of what they think Louisiana food is.

But it's okay because crime is down and I'm sure that all the ghetto lads being released have fully repented and will be extremely productive members of society thanks to New Orleans' benevolent and incredibly brilliant Mayor and DA.

If it went up 10% it’s just an anomaly
It went up 600%
He’s doing exactly what he was elected to do.

Jamon Edwards was arrested in New Orleans, accused of shooting and killing a man on France Street.
But by early June, less than six months later, Edwards was ordered released.
Lol. Its unsalvageable. Burn it all down.

The purpose is to lower property values so that real estate moguls can come in and buy huge swaths of land for cheap.
Then those areas can be gentrified and sold for untold profits.
You might not be too familiar with New Orleans if you think this is feasible.

there was actually someone in that Houston vs SA vs Dallas thread last week saying they’d rather live in NOLA than anywhere in Texas

Yeah, I really don't know why people are shocked by this.
He's one of the few elected officials that is fulfilling his campaign promises.

At least these people will have to wear masks and show vax cards to eat out.

To some; to others especially Orleans Parish voters it earns their vote next Mayor election.

We can’t walk to Thai fusion places and brunch in Texas or something

It's not like crime has slowed down with those people in jail.
