Those are mostly Independents and Republican voters according to the LA Times report you pulled that from.
Forgot to mention that Texas isn't top 5 in net inflows from California so it's not as bad as you indicate.

Tejas fricked
Why can’t red states breed quickly enough to avoid these changes?

Funny how Democrats talk their nonsensical talk, but don’t walk the walk. They’re always moving to red states to get out of the financial nightmare blue states.
They want all the benefits of living in a red state while at the same time poisoning that state with their liberal politics. Scum.

That’s why I am hoping Proposition 4 passes today. It will make it nearly impossible to ever institute a state income tax

I honestly don’t understand the mentality of a person that will uproot their entire life to move halfway across the country because Democrats have made their situation unlivable to seek opportunities in a prosperous state ran by Republicans only to get there and vote for the same kinds of assholes that ran the state they left.
It’s insanity.
It’s insanity.

Then they have kids and pass on their shitty voting habits.
The Hispanic population is growing quickly too. They vote Dem in pretty big numbers

I hope this plays out to where real estate in CA goes in a free fall. I want to retire on the beach in SoCal and at this rate that probably won’t happen.

I was looking at Zillow a week ago and prices have dropped about 6% this year in Hermosa Beach. Too bad that a million bucks basically just buys you a teardown or small condo.

The foreign investment market will keep property values neutral. San Diego is at an all time high.

Me and the GF make two of those. I moved back to SWLA but I actually miss Cali.
Both sets of my grandparents count in that number. They're conservatives that moved to Cali in the 60's and are just moving back to where they're from (TX and UT).

A decent amount of the people moving from California to Texas are going to be conservatives who are fed up with the politics of the state. My wife and I will hopefully be leaving this summer or some time next year. Cost of Living is too damn high. We’re tired of sitting in traffic, living in a one bedroom condo, with obnoxious people.

I really see this as more of a birthrate issue. People that tend to vote Republican are having far fewer children than they used to.
Populations are also concentrating in a handful of metros because that's where most of the jobs are. Big cities tend to lean more left than rural and some suburban areas.

I wouldn't live in Cali if I had to commute daily. F that noise.

Hard to justify staying in California given the liberal shithole they've made for themselves.

You do realize that in 2016 California had 4,483,810 people vote for Trump? Let those numbers sink in.
And years ago they had more than that voting R.
Washington state recently had a Republican Governor.
That probably won't happen again in my lifetime in any of the the west coast states. shite is only gonna get worse.
