True. I just like to point out that one of the reasons CA is fricked up is that all the crazy people from back east moved there in the first place so I don't feel bad about them moving back. Keep your own crazies. We have plenty of them already out here.

Why can’t red states breed quickly enough to avoid these changes?

When you breed and vote R, you have to pay for the offspring yourself, so you tend to breed more slowly.

statistically, more non native born Texans votes for Cruz last go round than native born did. There were a lot of suburban white women that thought he was cute

I’m surprised ANY women thought Ted Cruz was ‘cute’, no matter what their political leanings.

That’s why I am hoping Proposition 4 passes today. It will make it nearly impossible to ever institute a state income tax

I lived in Texas for a long time.. i would have MUCH rather have a state income tax, than to pay the astronomical property taxes i paid every year,.. but they got a lotta people like yourself hoodwinked, that’s obvious.

Hopefully most of the Californians moving to Texas are Republicans who are fed up with California.

I always ask and never get an answer but what is it like to view everything in life through a red/blue political extreme filter? It must be exhausting to let irrational anger rule your emotions all day every day.

Property taxes suck. They'll go up the rest of your life and if you think you ever own your home try not paying them for a few years

Over the next 20 years it becomes a real number.

Texas will be blue long before that. But even 1.7 million people is not a big deal considering many moving here will skew conservative imo.

Then they have kids and pass on their shitty voting habits.

Naw, their kids will get a shitty Texas education.

Orange County is pretty conservative, but ok. I see more Trump MAGA hats and signs than I do liberal stuff.

26K moved from Louisiana to TX as well. When comparing the population percentages between CA and Louisiana. Louisiana is number 1 for residents moving to TX.

Hate to break it to you, but most of the people moving out of CA to Texas are Red...not blue.

Tejas not fricked, you're just ill informed.
