67-year old men who talk about “having game”

Did these men seriously never grow up?
I was watching “Love is Blind” with some relatives, and one of the older ones said the guys in this show “have no game”. Isn’t that something that high school kids and college kids would normally say? It’s not something you expect from grown-arse, elderly men.
It suggests that trying to attract women should be a game that you get good at. That’s so dumb though because playing games is the last thing you should do if you’re trying to find a serious partner. People who play games are immature, and you don’t want to settle down with someone like that.
When I met my wife, there were no games played. We both knew what we wanted and felt attracted to each other because we had the qualities the other person was looking for. There was no playing hard to get or any other manipulative behavior.
Anyway, I think people with the “having game” mindset are immature and never grew up. Ok, rant over

Your first mistake is thinking anything you see on "reality" tv is real life.

It means you’re good at “playing the game”and behaving in a way that will make women feel attracted to you.

Don't hate the player...hate the Game.

You mistake the motives. They aren't looking for a soul mate. They are looking to get off.

I mean, I'm "hip", I'm "dope, I'm "down", as the kids say.

No. It means being charming, witty, funny, etc. in a way that women find attractive. You can "have game" and still have completely honorable intentions.

They mean just being good at flirting etc
But, yes, it's embarrassing for adult men to use vapid 20-something slang.
They're just dumb and cheesy but that's also why they're picked for the show where viewers make fun of them for being dumb. cheesy and immature.
