Any gun control measure starting with the National Firearms Act of 1934 is a gross infringement on the right of the people to defend themselves from tyranny. And any gun control measure that came after it have further expanded the infringement.
Any gun control act should have a court case every year to try and get it stricken down.

The story started with a dude who had an arsenal in a county without a red flag law. They said no crime had been committed, yet the cops still came for him. Seems the government doesn't need another law to take action.

60 minutes is one of the most reliable news programs there is. If you see things one side you will not think so because it isn't going to say exactly what you want to hear, but they looked at both sides on this report.

No they didn't. It was nothing more than talking points, mostly the shallow thinking stuff of gun-control advocates. 60 Minutes has never done a segment that wasn't biased against gun-ownership in some way.

This is fricking stupid. If this was the case and all of these entities were working together towards increased regulations don't you think there would already be tougher regulations?
To say "the government" is just ignorant. "The government" is too complex to work as a whole.
And even if you have "private organizations" (I assume you mean non-profit?), there are groups on the other side.. Like the NRA.
Our government isn't designed for extremes to happen, but for some reason both sides think that the other side is going to take over and rule the world.
