Cozying up to gun control advocates throughout this entire piece on red flag laws.
Acted like the sheriffs that said they would not enforce them were crazy and dangerous people.

60 Minutes has been putting out pro-gun-control hit pieces for decades. They've attacked CCW permitting, campus carry, MSR's, and individual gun companies.

I'm not totally opposed to all red flag laws, but it would not have prevented the sandy hook school shooting.

Red flag laws are feel good laws for authoritarians but really will do nothing but ke gun owners for seeking help for run of the mill anxiety or depression.

In 1985, the Los Angeles Times surveyed 3,000 journalists on gun-control. 78% supported imcreased regulations on firearms. It's probably above 90% now. John Lott's book on the media bias against guns is an excellent read, proves that the media, private orgs, and governments work together very closely to push the anti-gun agenda.

Citizens being able to protect themselves is frightening to governments and it’s why the founding fathers put it in the Constitution.

Police who say they won't enforce red-flag laws are simply lying.
We live in a police state, and they get off on it.
Try walking down the highway of the reddest parish in Louisiana carrying a shotgun -- all completely legal (at least it is in Texas) -- and watch how fast one of your buddy-buddy flag-waving "first responders" detain you at gunpoint and treat you like a criminal.
