I saw a 5 at first glance bc that 3 is way bigger than the 27 next to it. Therefore I didn't notice the top curve of the 3, thought it was a 5 that was the same size as the 27.

That's what happened to me. I obviously see the "3" now and would have just contacted the issuing office had I seen the "3" to confirm.

It's a 5, if you don't look past the "Court appearance" line. But, if you take into account the ink past that line, it looks more like a 3.

It's not CLEARLY any of the above.

There’s a reason we learn to write between the lines. It’s a 3 but not “clearly”. But a quick phone call would have made life easier
