ARLINGTON -- One of the largest crowds in Texas high school football state history watched Saturday's Class 6A Division II state championship game between Longview and Beaumont West Brook at the Dallas Cowboys' AT&T Stadium.
The announced attendance was 48,421 for the second game of Saturday's tripleheader. Saturday's final game - the much anticipated showdown of nationally ranked teams - No. 5 Duncanville vs. No. 6 Galena Park North Shore - drew a crowd of 42,363.
