500 mg of D3 daily and big doses of C for Covid 19?

A few local doctor buddies of mine are advising me to take 500 mg of D3 daily as a possible preventive agent for Covid 19, and if you get Covid then like 2000 mg of C every 8 hours.

Apparently, when people are coming in the hospital with Covid 19 they are D deficient, not sure why the C but I saw on the news that the one of the big doctors in Houston is using C too together with a ton of other stuff to treat people at hospital.

Any of you medical field people hearing anything on this? It can’t hurt I guess

There have been quite a few people talking about this. A prominent nutritionist was on Joe Rogan the other day talking about Vitamin D and COVID.

Of course this means the left will be shouting down anyone that talks about Vitamin D now.

I was told the exact same thing by a doctor that specializes in infectious diseases and is working on a Covid study with a particular drug. So...yeah.

Same here, my primary/diabetic doctor (diabetic and skinny himself) pushes the hell out of vitamin D. Taking vitamin C and zinc on my own.

I am big proponent of C, I always take a bunch and don’t get sick often.

Zbec was another great one you can’t find anymore.

I have added elderberry to my Vitamin mix now too. No clue if it works but I know people who swear by it

Seen these studies back in March. Take it. Good stuff. Add in zinc as well.

It can’t hurt. You can take 10,000 iu daily without worrying about hitting toxic levels.

Half the population is D deficient, we don't get enough sun and when we do we filter it out with sunscreen. I guess low D is better than cancer. I take vitamin D to counteract a medication side effect, it works for that.

The general surgeon that I saw today recommended the C, D and Zinc regimen. Joe Rogan has been saying the same.

It’s cheap insurance no matter how you look at it.

If you take liposomal vitamin C, the absorption rate is over 70%. 50 mg Absorbed vit C per kg of your body is considered about right.

And you should do your best to space out 5-6 grams. This is important because our bodies do not make Vitamin C and it metabolizes fairly quickly.

Vitamin C is armor for your cell walls. A great defense coupled with D3, they don’t provide much for the Covid to attach to and your body will shed the crap down the toilet.

I take 4 D3’s throughout the day. 8000 IU in total.

Chaga mushroom harvested from Birch trees, made into a hot tea sipped as your day progresses with zinc and copper will have you bullet prooof.

Make sure you get plenty of calcium. If you're on a high D regimen and are calcium deficient it will leach it out of your bones.
