One of those states was the first to adopt it. The others were just mocking.

I've never seen so much hate for a beautiful songbird.

I’ve never seen so much disregard for originality. You’ve got 10,000+ species of birds out there … pick something else.

I haven’t looked into how long they live, but I have a mockingbird or generations of Mockingbirds depending on how long they live that have been overseeing my property and house for at least 20 years.
Anytime something’s happening outside the Mockingbird is there observing.
Any bird or critter that it can intimidate away, it will attempt it.

You wouldn't say that if you had to listen to the a-hole mockingbird who decided that the middle of the night was a great time to sing outside my bedroom window.

Florida checking in. We have a Bougainvillea out front that Mom & Pop mockingbirds decided to make their nest in for the newcomers. Everyday, when passing the tree, on the way to the front door, they would dive-bomb us. Now the kids hang out, taunting us, with their merry little tunes. Since they are protected by the Migratory Bird Act, I can't even give them the side-eye. They seem to know and relish in this fact.
